The red wine Chianti Classico DOCG, vintage 2016 from the winery Vallepicciola has been rated in 2018 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Tasting Notes
Intense ruby red colour with a flint core. Dark berry nose of ripe elderberry and blackberry, carried by a light chocolate sweetness. On the palate, the use of wood is clearly vivid, builds wide and tightly meshed, has a certain creaminess, very full-bodied.
