The red wine Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso Friuli Aquileia DOC, vintage 2019 from the winery Valpanera has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 89 Falstaff points.
Dark garnet purple with a subtle brightening at the rim. On the nose slightly earthy, with forest floor notes followed by rich blackberry, cinnamon and black truffle afterwards. On the palate vegetal nuances, loosely-knit tannin, some noticeable fruit, but dry on the finish, however.
