A deep, dark ruby red with a touch of brightening on the rim. Fruity, savoury notes immediately stand out. Dark Piedmont cherries, dark chocolate, liquorice, leather and blackcurrant. Taut on the palate. The fruity sweetness is quickly overshadowed by the somewhat young tannins. Somewhat staccato on the finish.
