The white wine Dut'un Friuli bianco IGT, vintage 2019 from the winery Vie di Romans has been rated in 2023 by Othmar Kiem & Simon Staffler with 97 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc from the region Friuli-Venezia Giulia in Italy.
Intense light gold with subtle greenish reflections. On the nose a candied lemon peel, light grapefruit, mint, sage, plus fine oak, hints of sea salt in the echo. Great tension on the palate, deep and balanced, comes in many layers and builds towards a salty and elegant finish with great length.
