The red wine Pinot Noir, vintage 2018 from the winery Viermorgen has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
The nose is still characterised by new wood, accompanied by sweet cherry and roasted aromas. A powerful and rather broad Pinot unfolds on the palate, but one which knows how to maintain balance between fine acidity and powerful and ripe tannins. One for further development.
