The red wine Liorsi Amarone della Valpolicella Riserva DOCG, vintage 2011 from the winery Villa Erbice has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 95 Falstaff points.
Dark, rich ruby red. An open nose of ripe plums and preserved cherries, with dark chocolate and liquorice in the background. It's rich and darkly spiced on the palate, with a core of ripe cherry fruit and subtle savouriness. Tight and juicy tannins provide the backbone to this powerful, vivid Amarone.
