The red wine Chianti Classico DOCG, vintage 2019 from the winery Villa la Pagliaia has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 89 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Merlot from the region Chianti in Italy.
Brilliantly shimmering ruby red. Quite spicy on the nose with hints of black pepper, sloes and smoke, followed by black cherries. Juicy on the attack, spreads across the palate with verve, then eases off a little on the finish and becomes broad-meshed.
