The red wine Chianti Classico Gran Selezione, vintage 2011 from the winery Villa S. Andrea has been rated in 2016 by Othmar Kiem with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese from the region Chianti classico in Italy.
Sparkling ruby with a slight garnet shimmer. Intense and finely drawn nose, aromas of raspberries and ripe cherries. Warm and round on the palate, opens with lots of ripe fruit, firm tannins with good density, slightly alcoholic on the finish.
