The red wine Errazuriz Don Maximiano Founder’s Reserve, vintage 2021 from the winery Viña Errazuriz has been rated in 2024 by Peter Moser with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the region Aconcagua in Chile.
Dark ruby with purple reflections, delicately brighter at the edge. Ripe sweet cherry, some caramel nougat, vanilla, subtle herbal savouriness and a touch of precious wood and floral malt. Complex and elegant, with fine fruit expression and a lively structure, it has red fruits of the forest on the finish, is mineral and has good persistence. Very well balanced, it has definite ageing potential. With a salty aftertaste, it is already easy to drink.
