The red wine Seña, vintage 2021 from the winery Viña Seña has been rated in 2024 by Peter Moser with 98 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Carmenère, Petit Verdot from the region Aconcagua in Chile.
Dark ruby with an opaque core and purple reflections, subtly brighter at the edge. Tobacco and oak savouriness, delicate notes of liquorice, blackberry and nuances of meadow herbs. Taut, elegant, red cherry on the tightly woven and savoury palate, with pleasant acidity and a salty-mineral finish. All of a piece, harmonious and long-lasting. A finesse-rich food companion with certain ageing potential.
