Powerful and savoury nose, dominated by ripe, dark berries (blackberry and black cherry), oak savouriness and some vanilla. Soft on the palate, with sweetish extract; develops a lot of substance and power, but also alcohol. Powerful tannins lend structure, a wine for dining and for the fireside lounge.
