Tasting Notes
Rich, sparkling ruby; concentrated nose with lots of blackberry fruit, some plum, licorice in the background; good fullness on the palate, opens up with firm tannins, pithy, lots of plum, the wood still comes to the fore in the finish, but should integrate well with further ageing.
