Deep dark garnet. Dark berryish fruit on the nose, paired with subtle tar and wet stone. After some air black currant, chocolate powder and resin, multilayered. On the palate with dense, layered tannin and subtle drive, unfortunately becomes completely brittle on the back end and dries out. Tasted two bottles.
