Fine woody notes, smoke, cherry and wet chalk on the nose, with cherry stone and floral hints in behind. There's substance and volume on a juicy base on the palate, supported by fine acidity. The drive comes from fine-grained but firm tannins and a chalky minerality, and shows its youthful side.
