The red wine Blaufränkisch Reserve Limited Edition, vintage 2018 from the winery Weingut Anton Bauer has been rated in 2021 by Peter Moser with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Blaufränkisch from the region Wagram in Austria.
It has a deep carmine colour, with purple reflections, and a broad bright rim. There is a ripe cherry fruit aroma, a delicate hint of greengage, candied orange zest, some fig, with berry confit in the background. It is juicy, tightly meshed, with sweet fruit, red cherry and berry, well-integrated acidity, fine tannins, and toasty aromas on the finish. It is already well developed.
