Notes of cherry, wild berries and a fine woody spice. There's some juiciness, depth and balance promised on the nose, which doesn't quite carry on the fresh palate where vivid tannins create a slightly astringent mid-palate. It's finely juicy on the finish with notes of sour cherry and lively acidity.
