The white wine Leithaberg DAC, vintage 2017 from the winery Bayer – Erbhof has been rated in 2018 by Peter Moser with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Leithaberg in Austria.
Light yellow-green with silver reflections. A smoked savouriness on the nose underlays meadow herbs, some pineapple and a hint of passion fruit - an appealing bouquet. Juicy, finely structured on the palate - plenty of creamy texture and a pear fruit note on the finish, as well as a hint of vanilla on the back palate.
