The white wine Pinot Blanc Ried Kapellenjoch, vintage 2017 from the winery Bayer – Erbhof has been rated in 2018 by Peter Moser with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Weißburgunder from the region Leithaberg in Austria.
Pale yellow, green hints, silver reflections. An attractive bouquet with a delicate herbal savouriness, underpinned by notes of white pear and mango, a floral touch and dark minerality. Juicy and elegant with a well integrated acidic structure, tightly woven, fine fruit expression, notes of yellow tropical fruit. Definite further ageing potential.
