The red wine »Avantgarde« Shiraz trocken, vintage 2018 from the winery Weingut Bergdolt-Reif und Nett has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 - 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Shiraz from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
This wine is quite complex on the nose with aromas of blackberry, ripe plum, ripe cherry and clove. There is also some pepper, black cherry and dark chocolate on the palate. Balanced by good acidity with ripe tannins, good structure and an attractive finish.
