The non-alcoholic red wine »Breakaway« Pinot Noir entalkoholisiert from the winery Weingut Bergdolt-Reif und Nett has been rated in 2025 by Ulrich Sautter with 89+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Red cherry and stewed cherries on the nose, red currants, plums and red fruit jelly, also fresh beetroot, a hint of bay leaf, the Pinot is evident on the nose. Juicy on the palate with rather tart fruit, some sour cherry, early-picked plum and redcurrant, vivid and stable acidity, restrained in extract and density, low tannin, accessible and with a lovely freshness.
