The red wine Cuvée Taggenbrunn, vintage 2021 from the winery Weingut Burg Taggenbrunn has been rated in 2024 by Peter Moser with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Blauer Zweigelt, Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz from the region Carinthia in Austria.
Dark ruby garnet colour, purple reflections, delicate brightening on the rim. Ripe black cherries, wild berries, candied orange zest, delicate nougat notes. Powerful, good complexity, blackberry confit, integrated wood savouriness, salty finish, will benefit from further maturation in the bottle.
