The white wine Thörnich Ritsch Riesling GG, vintage 2019 from the winery Weingut Carl Loewen has been rated in 2020 by Ulrich Sautter with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Moselle in Germany.
Initially there are just aromas of spontaneous fermentation, but they dissipate quickly with candied lemon peel, smoke and tangerine notes emerging. On the palate silky and poised, quite calm and balanced, almost distinguished in its fine but rich texture. Fine acidity, terpenic finish.
