Tasting Notes
Medium ruby-garnet color with violet highlights and a subtle lightening at the rim. Delicate heart cherry fruit, a hint of dark slate spice, floral notes, red wild berry jam, and a touch of mandarin zest in the background. Complex, tightly woven, with a delicate sweetness from the extract; ripe cherries again, fine, firm tannins, very persistent, finely structured, balanced, light on the palate, a salty touch, and a delicate hint of blackberries on the finish, great length; should definitely be decanted; a perfect example of how a modern red wine should be crafted.
