Ripe, dark fruit, blackberries and blueberries, some cassis, plus a fine spiciness, cloves, some nutmeg. Medium-bodied on the palate, again with lots of dark fruit, also showing a slate-like minerality. Ripe, strong acidity, fine tannins. Lingers for a long time. Still youthful in appearance.
