The white wine Mettenheim Schlossberg Silvaner trocken, vintage 2015 from the winery Weingut Daniel Schmitt has been rated in 2017 with 87 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Grüner Sylvaner from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
The partial barrique as a hardware tuning for the Silvaner, which brings more tobacco, hazelnut and pear slices to the mucous membranes on the nose. It also manages to keep the power on the asphalt on the palate, where it is less about effervescence than power.
