Tasting Notes
On the nose this is quite intense, with vivid fruit aromas of sour cherry, raspberry, blueberry, and blackcurrant, plus toasty nuances from ageing in oak, a subtle almond note, and some smoky oak character, it is really harmonious. It is fresh on the palate, and also beautifully balanced with juicy ripe acidity and dark fruit flavours. There are very fine and beautifully integrated tannins, and it has a juicy finish.
