The red wine Petronell-Carnuntum, vintage 2022 from the winery Weingut Dietrich has been rated in 2025 by Peter Moser with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Blauer Zweigelt, Blaufränkisch from the region Carnuntum in Austria.
Dark ruby in colour with purple reflections and a delicate ochre rim. The nose is restrained, with aromas of ripe plum and dark cherry, underpinned by delicate herbal spice. The freshly structured palate has medium complexity, with notes of fresh plum and a hint of nougat on the finish. Already easy to drink.
