The white wine Bacharach Kloster Fürstental Riesling Spätlese feinherb, vintage 2021 from the winery Weingut Dr. Kauer has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Mittelrhein in Germany.
Interestingly, the finely tart Spätlese offers less apple notes on the nose and more gooseberry and elderflower. The latter also remains clearly vivid on the palate, joined by a noticeable fruit sweetness. As it becomes more involved, the tension also increases.
