The sweet and dessert wine Muskateller Auslese, vintage 2021 from the winery Weingut Drei Herren has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Gelber Muskateller from the region Saxony in Germany.
At the beginning, yeast dominates the aroma, but with aeration, peppery, earthy notes emerge, as well as rock dust and damp asphalt. The typical varietal savouriness of Muscat and lemon remains discreetly in the background. On the palate, the wine has juicy acidity, lean density, and measured sweetness.
