Tasting Notes
Opening in the glass with a slightly balsamic aroma, along with blossom, and red apple. Comparatively still on the palate, quite powerful phenolics, ripe acidity, with an initial spiciness on the finish, almost a little petrol, but also with a powerful, long-lasting, and supple structure.
More about the tastingBeginning to open up on the nose: passion fruit, pink grapefruit, traces of wood and honey. Emphasised suppleness in the attack, creamy and round, yet not clumsy, has juiciness, a fine acid nerve, rests in itself with play.
More about the tastingThe nose is taut and complex: candied ginger, citrus zest, no puggy fruit, but stringency and discipline. Nothing is out of line on the palate either: fruit, acidity, extract and minerality are all in line in the straightforward finish.
