The red wine Lagrein Riserva Südtirol DOC, vintage 2017 from the winery Weingut Eberlehof has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Lagrein from the region Alto Adige in Italy.
Rich ruby with purple glints. Mature nose of Amarena cherries, rooibos tea, dried orange zest and some clove. On the palate balanced tannin, well integrated acidity, but becomes a bit loosely knit in texture and remains washed out.
