The white wine Monzinger „Lay“ Halenberg, vintage 2004 from the winery Weingut Emrich-Schönleber has been rated in 2005 with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Nahe in Germany.
Pale greenish yellow, rather restrained stone fruit on the nose, delicate pineapple notes, racy on the palate, crisp structure, delicate mineral bitterness on the finish. The overall impression is somewhat reductive, but very promising.
