The white wine »Selektion Melina« Rauenthal feinherb, vintage 2018 from the winery Weingut Ernst Russler has been rated in 2019 with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Gewürztraminer, Riesling, Gelber Muskateller from the region Rheingau in Germany.
Nuanced savouriness on the nose, rose and nutmeg, but also Riesling-like citrus notes, blood orange. Good weight on the palate, ripe acidity and restrained sweetness, a wine that is recommended as a food companion, for example with aromatic pâtés.
