It has a dark ruby colour, with purple reflections, and a subtle ochre rim. There is a lovely aroma of fine oak spiciness, as well as ripe black cherry and plum, and a hint of fig and nougat, it is an inviting bouquet. It is powerful, juicy, with sweet plum, rounded firm tannins, and a chocolate touch on the finish. It is persistent, and it has certain ageing potential.
