The white wine »Löss« Grauburgunder, vintage 2021 from the winery Weingut Familie Sauer has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 89+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Grauburgunder from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
At first, the wine smells a little like hops! But there are also aromas of yellow fruit and berry tones, some yeast and slightly peppery soil tones. In the mouth, the wine has the right amount of drive, substance and acidity, all components mesh well and result in a tasty, fresh varietal wine with good length.
