Cherry red with a brick rim. Ripe red fruit on the nose as well as smoke and vanilla, cherry, sloe. Ripe, supple tannins on the palate, full. Lots of power and tension, dark fruit, preserved cherry, some tobacco and truffles, quite complex, balanced acidity, good structure and length.
