Deep dark ruby core, purple reflections, subtle brightening on the rim. Somewhat restrained nose of candied oranges, dark forest berries, ripe plums and a hint of chocolate and black cherries. Juicy, balanced, elegant palate with well balanced, vivid tannins that are still somewhat demanding. A freshly structured wine and a very fine food companion.
