Smoky, slate-spicy aromas, gunpowder and some balsamic tones are accompanied by dried orange peel fruit notes. In the mouth, the wine flows silky and smooth, with the ripe acidity completely wrapped up with with the softer fruit components. Plenty of substance.
More about the tastingThe nose smells of a hot summer's day on a steep slope, balsamic spiciness, breezy and slatey, vineyard peach. Emphatically dry on the palate without a sugar buffer, the acidity is rather mild by Mosel standards, phenolic layering. The minerality provides profile and size.
