The red wine Eisenberg DAC Reserve, vintage 2012 from the winery Weingut Gerald Unger has been rated in 2016 by Peter Moser with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Blaufränkisch from the region Eisenberg in Austria.
Dark ruby garnet, violet reflections, delicate brightening at the rim. Fine precious wood notes, delicate cassis and coconut, dark berries and some nougat, hint of tobacco. Juicy, good complexity, extract-sweet core, integrated tannins, mineral, chocolaty finish, sticks well, has further aging potential.
