The blanc de noirs Blanc de Noir Merlot trocken, vintage 2019 from the winery Weingut Hagenbuch has been rated in 2020 by Ulrich Sautter with 89 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Tangerine and mirabelle plums on the nose, also raspberry, redcurrant and floral notes. There’s a nice juiciness and spiciness on the palate, almost a little peppery; ripe and restrained acidity, a slight piquancy and salty, fine tannins. An interesting interpretation.
