The white wine »Tonneau No. 5« Zeltingen Riesling trocken, vintage 2023 from the winery Weingut Heinrichshof has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 92+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Moselle in Germany.
A hint of honey, peach compote, also balsamic-terroir savoury tones, herbal nuances such as thyme and wormwood and just a hint of wood. The palate packs a lot of extract into a small space, the acidity is firm but well integrated, supported by delicate phenolics.
