The pét nat »Pet Nat« extra brut, vintage 2020 from the winery Weingut Hemmes has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 89+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Faberrebe, Scheurebe, Huxelrebe
It is very fragrant on the nose, with nutmeg, yeasty undertones, as well as pineapple with a little air contact. There is a fresh mousse which is quite dynamic with medium persistence, a well-integrated acidity, medium fruit density, and bready back flavours. It is a hearty sparkling wine.
