The white wine »vom Muschelkalk« Appenheim Riesling trocken, vintage 2022 from the winery Weingut Hofmann has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
Pale lemon yellow in colour. The nose is varietally pure and brings fine aromas of lime, ripe pear, honeysuckle and pink peach. On the palate it's wonderfully juicy, yet dry, clean, and pure fruited - all carried by well judged acidity. A great food companion with potential!
