The red wine Heideboden, vintage 2017 from the winery Weingut Horvath has been rated in 2019 by Peter Moser with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Blaufränkisch, Zweigelt from the region Lake Neusiedl in Austria.
Deep ruby in colour with purple reflections, and a broad and bright rim. On the nose, aromas of fine ripe plum fruit, cherry compote, some nougat, and candied orange zest. The palate has a fresh structure with integrated tannins, juicy cherry fruit, and subtle sweetness on the finish, a versatile food wine.
