The red wine Zweigelt Reserve, vintage 2015 from the winery Weingut Hundsdorfer has been rated in 2022 by Peter Moser with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Zweigelt from the region Central Burgenland in Austria.
It has a dark ruby colour, with purple reflections, and a delicate ochre rim. On the nose there is a lovely fine oak spiciness, discreet hints of cassis and nougat, tobacco notes, and a hint of tar in the background. It is juicy, with ripe berry fruit, fine tannins, a chocolaty touch, some minerality, and persistence. It has reached its maturity plateau.
