Dark ruby, opaque core, purple reflections, subtle brightening on the rim. Finely spiced black berry confit, subtle touch of oak, a hint of nougat. Powerful, firm tannins, ripe sweet cherries, tight-knit, still a little demanding, will benefit from bottle ageing.
