The red wine Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve, vintage 2018 from the winery Weingut Jalits has been rated in 2021 by Peter Moser with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Eisenberg in Austria.
Dark ruby garnet with an opaque core, purple reflections and a lightly ochre rim. Fine precious wood spice on the nose reveals itself through a hint of cloves and nougat, with black berry fruit, cassis and blackberries also in the mix. The palate is juicy and elegant with a core of heart cherries and firm, well-integrated tannins. A mineral note on the finish lingers well. Good ageing potential.
