Very dark ruby, purple reflections, delicate edge brightening. Spicy, earthy nougat touch, some cocoa, dark berry fruit, some tobacco and leather. Complex and powerful, ripe sweet cherry fruit, well-integrated, supporting tannins, a hint of chocolate, mineral finish. A great wine considering the cool, difficult red wine vintage.
