Deep dark ruby, opaque core, purple reflections, delicate bright rim. A little tobacco spiciness, a touch of herbs in the background, dark wild berry fruit, discreet cassis, and mineral notes. Complex, juicy, taut tannins, some fine oak nuances, and blackberry on the finish. It is a versatile wine.
