The red wine Joanni IGT, vintage 2011 from the winery Weingut Josef Weger has been rated in 2014 with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Lagrein from the region Alto Adige in Italy.
Sparkling ruby with a slight garnet sheen. Opens on the nose with fine spicy notes of cloves and cardamom, then rich blackberries and dark cherries. Very juicy on the palate, with lots of cherry and blackberry, opens with polished, fine tannins, good pressure on the finish.
